Cambridge Early Years

Cambridge Assessment International Education

The Cambridge curriculum sets the standards which are acclaimed globally and are recognized by universities across the globe. The assessment has twofold objectives:

  • a) To prove the learning of the learners
  • b) To improve a student’s skills and understanding

The year-end assessments assess what is of greatest value to students- deep subject knowledge, conceptual understanding, and higher-order thinking skills.

Cambridge Early Years (Preprimary):

Cambridge Early Years, a newly introduced program by Cambridge International facilitates young learners the best start in life, helping them to achieve key early milestones and thrive in and outside the classroom. It is the first stage in Cambridge Pathway, giving students a clear path for the educational journey from age 3-19.

The curriculum is built around four key areas of early childhood development:

  • Physical development
  • Language and communication development
  • Cognitive development
  • Social and emotional development

Assessing our young learner’s progress against key milestones plays an important part in early years education. The Cambridge approach is based on:

  • Continuous developmental/formative assessment, including observations of children in the learning environment and evidence gathered during learning.
  • Evaluation of the evidence
  • Planning for the next steps based on the above steps
  • The assessments help the teachers make effective judgements about our learner's development.
